Transwestern, Newquest Advancing Kyle Mixed-Use Project
Transwestern and NewQuest are advancing an approximately 101-acre mixed-use development in Kyle, Texas, that will bring together retail, hotel and multifamily uses. The duo has formed a joint venture and commenced construction on the retail portion of the development, Kyle Park, marking the next phase of the broader project.
Retail will serve as the central aspect of the mixed-use center, while Transwestern Development is planning a future multifamily phase that will complement the shopping, dining and services envisioned for the property. Details on the multifamily component will be announced as plans progress.
NewQuest will manage development, leasing and property management of Kyle Park, while Transwestern Investments will serve as the capital partner and co-sponsor. Kyle Park is planned as a regional lifestyle center, totaling approximately 412,588 square feet of retail space with a mix of big-box, inline and pad-site tenants. Anchor and junior tenants include Dick’s Sporting Goods, Burlington, HomeGoods, ULTA Beauty, TJ Maxx, Barnes & Noble, Boot Barn, and EOS Fitness.
