MassChallenge to Establish New Global Headquarters in Fenway

Global accelerator MassChallenge plans to relocate its world headquarters to 401 Park Dr. in Boston’s Fenway neighborhood. The move to the Alexandria Real Estate Equities-owned campus represents a relocation from the Seaport District, where it has been based since its founding in 2009.

“When I think about MassChallenge’s history in the Seaport, I see a mission accomplished. We were there as the neighborhood grew into one of Boston’s most dynamic innovation communities, and I’m incredibly proud of the role we played in that transformation,” said Robby Bitting, chief of staff, MassChallenge. “Now we’re bringing that same commitment to Fenway, and I couldn’t be more optimistic about what’s ahead.”

Added Hunter Kass, co-president and regional market director – Greater Boston at Alexandria, “MassChallenge brings an exceptional network of entrepreneurs and industry partners to 401 Park, strengthening the vital connections and collaboration that enable innovation to thrive.”

Cushman & Wakefield’s Ryan Hurd advised MassChallenge in finding its new headquarters.
