Work to Start Soon on 221-Room Grapevine Hotel

Northland Properties and Trammell Crow are joining forces on the construction of a Sandman Signature Hotel in Grapevine, not far from Grapevine Mills. The 6-story hotel will have 221 rooms. Construction is expected to begin on November 15.

The hotel will include a 275-seat restaurant and a 4,200-square-foot banquet and meeting room. Other amenities include a 1,000-square-foot indoor gym and an outdoor pool.

Besides the hotel, the development duo is planning to build 248 apartment units across 20 adjacent acres.

The new hotel would be Northland Properties’ fourth hotel in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. On its website, Trammell Crow says it has developed or acquired more than 700 million square feet of space since being founded in 1948, and has $20 billion in projects in various stages of development.
