Ascension Seton Acquires Three Austin-Area Medical Facilities

Ascension Seton acquired three Texas health care facilities from Family Hospital Systems. The healthcare centers are located in Round Rock, Cedar Park and near Lake Travis.

The healthcare system stated the move is planned to expand emergency care access amid growth in the greater Austin area. 

Family Hospital at Lake Travis (shown), Family Medical Center at Lakeline, and Family Medical Center at Round Rock will officially come under the ownership of Ascension Seton later this year, once the deal closes. There should be no disruptions to care during the transition. Before the sale, Family Hospital Systems owned 7 properties in Texas. After the sale goes through, Family Hospital will still own the Emergency Room at Cedar Park, the Emergency Room at Georgetown, the Hospital at Bandera and the Hospital at Brushy Creek
