SKB, KCB Partners Acquire Trellis West Campus in Hillsboro for $31M
ScanlanKemperBard (SKB) and KCB Partners have acquired Trellis West, a four-building, 90%-leased, research and development campus in Hillsboro, Oregon, for $30.9 million.
Trellis West is located in Hillsboro’s Sunset Corridor, at the heart of Oregon’s Silicon Forest. “This acquisition marks KCB’s third investment in Oregon this year and further expands our presence in a market where we continue to see attractive risk-adjusted opportunities,” said Romayh El Jurdi, Principal at KCB.
Anchored by Applied Materials and KLA, the property features a tenant roster concentrated in the semiconductor and technology industries, more than 5 megawatts of power, and infrastructure designed to support a range of advanced technology and R&D associated uses.
“We were immediately attracted to Trellis West because of the quality of the real estate, its impressive building infrastructure, and, most importantly, the strength of the existing tenant roster,” said Dixon Hinderaker, Vice President of Acquisitions at SKB.
