AI Video Platform Synthesia Leases 50K SF for New U.S. Headquarters

Lee & Associates NYC announced that Synthesia, an AI video platform for business, has signed a 50,000-square-foot lease at GFP Real Estate’s 675 Ave. of the Americas for its new U.S. headquarters. The company has relocated from 245 Fifth Ave., where it previously occupied approximately 13,000 square feet.

Dennis Someck and Justin Myers of Lee & Associates NYC represented Synthesia in the transaction.  Jeffrey Gural and Alphie Toro of GFP Real Estate, along with Anthony Sciacca and Scott Gutnick of Newmark, represented the landlord, GFP Real Estate.

The lease represents a nearly fourfold expansion of Synthesia’s New York City footprint and is part of a broader U.S. growth strategy. The company has more than 250 employees in the U.S., including approximately 140 in New York, and plans to add more U.S. roles by the end of 2026.

“As a fast-growing AI hub, New York is attracting the talent and innovation energy we need to scale,” Laura Gonzalez, chief of staff at Synthesia, wrote in a blog posting.
