Bank of India, IQ-EQ Sign Long-Term Leases at Midtown Tower

JLL has secured 28,762 square feet of office space through two long-term transactions at 1212 Ave. of the Americas, a 24-story Midtown office tower owned by Stawski Partners.

Bank of India, New York Branch, the commercial bank owned by the Government of India, leased the entire 14,630-square-foot 12th floor in a 20-year lease. IQ-EQ Fund Services, the U.S. division of the global investor services group, signed a 10-year lease for the entire 14,132-square-foot 14th floor.

The transactions come as Stawski Partners introduces a 15,000-square-foot hospitality and amenity center designed by A+I and schedule for completion in 2027 “Stawski Partners has consistently invested in 1212 Avenue of the Americas with an eye toward what tenants want next,” said Paul Glickman, vice chairman, JLL.

Glickman, along with SVP Diana Biasotti, executive managing director Greg Wang and EVP Harrison Potter, represented Stawski Partners. JLL New York vice chairman Matthew Astrachan, EVPs Kristen Morgan and Seth Godnick, together with managing director Jamie Boast of JLL’s Charlotte office, represented IQ-EQ. Bank of India was represented by Chris Helgesen, Dirk Hrobsky, and Alejandro Alvarez of Cushman & Wakefield and Joseph Hilton of Joseph Hilton & Associates.
