The RIVVY Hotel Debuts in Chicago’s River North

The RIVVY, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel by Marriott, debuted today at the site of the former Hotel 55, bringing a new boutique hospitality experience to Chicago’s River North neighborhood.

The RIVVY, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel by Marriott, is a 297-room boutique hotel managed by Coury Hospitality. Located at 55 E. Ontario St., steps from Michigan Avenue and near the Chicago Riverwalk, The RIVVY will offer 8,187 square feet of meeting and event space across eight event rooms, along with Lure Fishbar, the seafood restaurant on the hotel’s first floor.

“River North is one of Chicago’s most dynamic neighborhoods, and our vision is to create a hotel that reflects that energy while giving guests a welcoming home base from which to discover the city,” said Andrew Casperson, president of Coury Hospitality.

The RIVVY will offer eight event rooms encompassing 8,187 square feet for corporate meetings, weddings, receptions and social gatherings. Steps from the Magnificent Mile and near the Chicago Riverwalk, with the Grand Red Line station less than a five-minute walk away.
