San Antonio Coca-Cola Bottler Adds 170K SF

Arca Continental Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages has completed a $42 million expansion of its bottling facility on the city’s East Side, adding 170,000 square feet of warehouse space and a second production line.

The project is located at 1 Coca-Cola Place near the Frost Bank Center and represents one of the company’s major recent investments in its San Antonio operations. The expansion nearly doubles the facility’s footprint and is designed to increase production and storage capacity as demand grows across Central Texas.

The expanded warehouse can hold about 20% more finished product than the previous facility, providing additional capacity for seasonal demand and higher volumes during holidays.

Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages added about 80 employees, bringing employment at the San Antonio operation to roughly 900 workers. Coca-Cola is reinvesting heavily into its bottling facilities, repeating the San Antonio expansion in a dozen regions.
