BWE Secures $42.5M Refi for Historic Nashville Building
BWE secured $42.5 million to refinance the Baggage Building, a Class A mixed-use office and retail property that has an iconic place in Nashville’s storied history. DZL was the sponsor. BWE’s Nick Harb arranged the financing. Sourced from a regional bank, the loan also features an interest-only payment period.
The property, located at 111 10th Avenue South, consists of the 61,000 square-foot mixed-used Baggage Building with office and retail space, as well as its associated parking spaces.
Built between 1898 and 1900 as part of the Louisville and Nashville Railroad terminal complex, the structure was used to handle passenger luggage and freight. It sits adjacent to the historic Cummins Station complex near the urban core and The Gulch.
