The Learning Experience Plans Expansion in NY Tri-State, Upstate NY

Childcare franchise The Learning Experience plans to add nine locations across the New York Tri-State area and five in Upstate New York over the next 18 months. The company currently operates 43 locations in the Tri-State region.

Plans call for a new Learning Experience location in Fair Lawn, NJ during the fourth quarter of 2026. It will be followed by new sites in Monroe, CT (Q1 2027); Islip, NY (Q3 2027); Sparta, NJ (Q4 2027); Old Bridge, NJ (Q4 2027); Port Jefferson Station, NY (Q1 2028); East Meadow, NY (Q1 2028); Hauppauge, NY (Q1 2028); and Belleville, NJ (Q2 2028).

In addition to the New York City market, The Learning Experience plans to open three new locations in the Syracuse area (Liverpool, Clay and Syracuse), one in Albany, and one near Buffalo in East Amherst. Those openings run from Q3 2027 through Q1 2028. Each location will consist of up to 10,000 square feet of indoor building space with up to a 5,000-square-foot playground.
