Mackenzie Launches New Laboratory Planning, Design Practice

Mackenzie announced the launch of a new laboratory planning and design practice, led by new hire Genie Filipowicz, as senior laboratory planner.

The practice expands the firm’s ability to support clients with specialized lab programming, planning, and design services across a wide range of research, education, healthcare, public safety, and advanced technology environments.

With nearly four decades of experience in the lab planning field, Filipowicz has designed laboratories across industry and market types, including private, public, and federal clients. Filipowicz’s expertise spans the full project lifecycle, from visioning and programming through design and implementation.
