Plano Expected to Greenlight Site Plan for AT&T’s $1.35B HQ

The site plan will span 54 acres and will include a $1.35 billion campus for AT&T. KDC is developing the site. While a construction start date has not been set, the Dallas Business Journal reports that employees could begin moving in the second half of 2028. Employees are currently housed at the 37-story Whitacre Tower in Dallas.

The new AT&T campus is being built on the site of the former Electronic Data Systems campus, which was razed in August to clear the way for the development.

Earlier this year, Plano approved its largest-ever economic development incentive package, including a $20 million grant and substantial property tax rebates.

Gensler and landscape architecture firm SWA Group are handling design work, while JPMorgan Chase is providing KDC with a $400 million construction loan. Kimley-Horn is the engineering consultant.
