Naranja Grand

HTG Debuts $115M Miami Affordable Housing Project

HTG and Elite Equity Development, Inc. (EED) opened the doors to Naranja Grand Phase I & Phase II, a multiphase, $115 million affordable housing community delivering a combined 320 income-restricted apartments for seniors and families in South Miami-Dade. 

Located at 28150 SW 147th Avenue and 28050 SW 147th Avenue, Naranja Grand consists of two eight-story residential buildings . Naranja Grand I and II offers apartments for income-qualifying households earning at or below 30, 60 and 70 percent of Area Median Income (AMI).

Amenities include multipurpose community rooms with catering kitchens, fitness centers, and outdoor recreation areas. Naranja Grand II features a resort-style swimming pool shared by residents of both buildings, as well as a cyber café. Residents also have access to complimentary on-site programs tailored to each community.

Financing for both project came from a half dozen private and public sources. Both included Low-Income Housing Tax Credits and construction loans from TD Bank.

The development team for both phases was Gomez Construction, general contractor and ATL Architecturet.
