- Driftwood Capital named David Resnick Partner and co-Chief Investment Officer and elevated David Steiner, co-founder of the firm’s credit platform, to co-CIO alongside him. Andrew Dykeman joins as Senior Vice President of Equity Investments. The appointments unify the Coral Gables firm’s equity and credit investing under a single leadership team, positioning Driftwood to pursue larger and more complex executions across lifestyle and luxury hospitality, mixed-use, and large-scale development.
- Construction firm Robins & Morton promoted Andrew Smith to project director in Fort Lauderdale. He brings 24 years of experience in the construction industry, having joined Robins & Morton in 2022, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture Technology from the New York Institute of Technology. In his time at Robins & Morton, Smith has guided one of the company’s largest projects, the Gloria Drummond Patient Tower at Boca Raton Regional Hospital, and continues to support multiple projects throughout South Florida.
- Colliers, a leading diversified professional services and investment management company, is pleased to announce that Scott Allen has joined the firm as Senior Vice President, based in its Fort Lauderdale office. Allen brings more than 27 years of commercial real estate experience, specializing in tenant representation and strategic advisory services for clients throughout South Florida and across the country.
- Hoar Construction today announced the promotion of Brandon Smith to director of division operations for its Florida Division as it expands its portfolio across the state. Smith joined Hoar in 2014 and has led projects for several Fortune 100 companies, including Apple, Amazon and Universal. As director of division operations, Smith will lead project staffing and provide oversight across the division’s portfolio, from preconstruction and estimating through project closeout.
- Hines and Urban Street Development announced that GXO Logistics, Inc. (NYSE: GXO), and CBI Workplace Solutions, a workplace design and furniture company, have signed the first office leases at T3FAT Village. GXO will support growth across its Americas & Asia Pacific business, with a new 35,000 square foot regional office, complementing its Dallas and High Point locations, while CBI Workplace Solutions will move its Fort Lauderdale office from Las Olas Boulevard.
