- Cushman & Wakefield announced today that Heinrich Cronje has joined the firm as Managing Director in the firm’s Houston Healthcare Advisory Practice. Cronje specializes in healthcare real estate and brings a broad range of commercial real estate experience to Cushman & Wakefield. His practice includes representation of healthcare tenants as well as leading health systems, institutional and entrepreneurial owners of medical office properties and other sophisticated healthcare owners, operators and investors. Over the course of his brokerage career, he has closed healthcare transactions valued at more than $300 million.
- Northmarq has added a Houston-based retail investment sales team consisting of longtime partners Matt Berry, Robbie Kilcrease, and Drew Reinking. Formerly directors of CBRE’s Texas Retail Investment Sales group, Berry, Kilcrease and Reinking join Northmarq as managing directors and members of the National Shopping Center Group, strengthening the firm’s coast-to-coast retail offering and expanding its capabilities across Texas.
- Weitzman hired financial executive Douglas (Doug) Nash, MBA, CPA, as its Chief Financial Officer. In this position, Nash will manage the company’s finances, assess financial risks and opportunities, and set and track financial goals, objectives and budgets. Most recently, he served as the CFO for The Retail Connection, a Dallas-based retail real estate services firm, where he was responsible for the finance | accounting, treasury, information technology and property management divisions.
- Welcome Group, a Houston-based commercial real estate investor and developer focused on manufacturing, laboratory, warehouse and distribution facilities, today announced the addition of five professionals to its team. Rob Canizalez has joined Welcome Group as Senior Property Manager, Sabrina Hollis as Property Manager, Gillian Boyer as Operational Accounting Director and Wesley Hightower as Finance Manager. William Hirtz has joined Welcome Realty Advisors, a subsidiary of Welcome Group, as Leasing Associate.
- Colliers is pleased to announce the sale of The Vic at Jordan Ranch, a 365-unit multifamily community located at 2011 Texas Heritage Parkway in Katy, Texas. Jaleel Adatia, Chip Nash, Bob Heard and Nolan Mainguy of Colliers represented the seller in the transaction.
