New Empire Lines Up Three Manhattan Development Sites
New Empire Group, a New York-based development and construction management group, has expanded its real estate development portfolio with three recent Manhattan acquisitions totaling more than $122 million. Together, the three development sites will bring more than 500 new residential units to the market.
The $51-million acquisition of 4 W. 43rd St., which will support 286 residential condominiums, is expected to close in 2027. In June, New Empire closed on 10 E. 30th St. ($33.5 million), which followed the acquisition of 567 Second Ave. ($38 million) in December 2025. The deals were brokered by Avison Young, BKREA and PCB Realty, respectively.
“New York City residential inventory is more constrained than ever, and New Empire is proud to help meet that need through these new projects,” said Bentley Zhao, CEO of New Empire. “Our recent acquisitions are a signal of confidence – in these neighborhoods, in New York’s long-term residential demand, and in our team’s ability to execute on projects at this scale.”
