Townhome Project Slated for Transforming Denver Mall
BB Living has plans to take over an underutilized stretch of parking lot at the Avenues at Northfield retail center and build 217 townhomes. The retail center, formerly known as The Shops at Northfield, is being converted into a mixed-use development that includes retail, housing and a fitness center. Luxury athletic club Life Time is expected to open in the development in 2027.
The townhomes would each have three or four bedrooms with floor plans ranging from 1,900 to 2,200 square feet, according to planning documents. The community will include a central amenity area and other open spaces. Planned amenities include two clubhouses, a pool, spa, fitness center, dog park and a playground.

The Avenues at Northfield is an 87-acre property at 8340 E. Northfield Blvd. with 1.1 million square feet of retail space. Stockdale Capital Partners acquired the center in 2022 and immediately began looking for more than just retail opportunities.
