Northmarq Brokers Record Multifamily Sale in Wichita

Northmarq’s Investment Sales team of Benjamin Davis, Jeff Lamott, and Casey Wilhm, arranged the sale of Union Mill, a 301-unit luxury garden-style apartment community located at 2023 N. Broadmoor Ave. in Wichita, Kansas.

Northmarq represented the seller, TLC Properties. The buyer was UM Apts, LLC. The transaction represents the largest multifamily sale in Wichita’s history. “As the largest apartment sale in Wichita history, Union Mill is also a significant milestone for the market and further validates Wichita’s emergence as an institutional multifamily investment destination,” said Davis.

Built in 2023, Union Mill sits on 11.91 acres and comprises 11 buildings offering studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom floor plans. The property is currently 91% occupied and features contemporary interior finishes. Union Mill is located in the heart of northeast Wichita, a submarket anchored by major employers across several industries. The property offers direct access to retail and dining destinations such as Bradley Fair, Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s and Towne East Mall.
