Laramar Group Acquires 656-Unit High-Rise Apartment Building in Chicago
The Laramar Group has completed the acquisition of Eleven Thirty, a 656-unit high-rise apartment community at 1130 S. Michigan Ave. in Chicago.
Originally constructed in 1967, Eleven Thirty is an iconic 43-story building on Chicago’s Michigan Avenue that offers amenities and views of Grant Park and Lake Michigan. The property is in the South Loop and is steps away from the Museum Campus, Millennium Park, the Lakefront Trail and the new $750 million, 22,000-seat Chicago Fire Stadium.
“Eleven Thirty is a well-designed building with great views, a significant resident amenity package, and thoughtful unit layouts in a location that simply can’t be replicated,” said Ben Slad, Chief Investment Officer for Laramar.
The community offers studio, one and two-bedroom units. The development is within a 15-minute walk of 100 million square feet of CBD office space and is situated near a CTA station with three train lines and six bus routes.
