Realterm, Starwood Property Trust Co-Originate IOS Financing
Realterm, alongside Starwood Property Trust, Inc., announced the closing of a $672 million industrial outdoor storage (IOS) portfolio financing, the largest ever of its kind.
The 78-property IOS portfolio is owned by affiliates of Stonemont Financial Group and Cerberus Capital Management and encompasses 830 acres of land across 33 U.S. markets. Eastdil Secured Savills arranged the transaction.
“This financing marks a significant milestone for our credit platform and underscores our ability to execute sophisticated solutions that drive industry-making deals,” said Paul Sisson, Head of Credit at Realterm. “Borrowers are continuing to seek lenders with a deep understanding of the industrial real estate and logistics sectors.”
Starwood manages a $32 million portfolio across its debt and equity investments. “Transactions like this one reflect the breadth and depth of Starwood’s commercial real estate lending platform,” said Jeffrey DiModica, President of Starwood Property Trust.
