Porter Kyle Adds New 100-Unit BTR Community to East Valley Portfolio

Porter Kyle, a Scottsdale-based Build-to-Rent (BTR) developer and general contractor, opened the doors to The Wayne, a 100-unit BTR townhome community in Chandler, Ariz. Residents are moving in, and the clubhouse and first four buildings at the community have been transitioned to Mark-Taylor for ongoing lease-up and property management.

The opening caps a 20-month build by Porter Kyle Builders of a community that was delivered on schedule and under budget. Porter Kyle’s Taylor Shultz added, “This community was built to compete with for-sale product on quality while offering the flexibility of a lease, and the early absorption numbers tell us that resonated with renters from day one.”

The Wayne offers one-, two- and three-bedroom townhomes with direct-access two-car garages, and private backyards. Community amenities include a resident clubhouse with coworking spaces and private offices, a fitness center, pool and outdoor kitchen, a dog park, and a community trail system.

Porter Kyle has four BTR projects in Phoenix’s East Valley.
