  • West Palm Beach, Fla. – PTM Partners and Hernandez Development & Construction acquired an 8.13-acre development site at 8530 Belvedere Road in West Palm Beach, Florida for $11.5 million. The site will be developed as Palm Beach Commerce Center, a 93,556-square-foot Class A industrial facility with 32-foot clear heights, 22 dock doors and more than 180 feet of building depth. Previously approved for retail, gas station, and daycare uses, the site is being repositioned to address the continued demand for logistics and distribution space in Palm Beach County. 
  • Former Miami Beach City Manager Jimmy Morales, has been hired by Bilzin Sumberg, as Special Counsel. Morales joins the firm’s Land Development & Government Relations Group. His arrival strengthens Bilzin Sumberg’s ability to serve clients navigating consequential transactions, strategic initiatives, government matters, regulatory challenges and opportunities for growth.
  • Wood Partners hired Micah Conn as Managing Director of the firm’s South Florida office. Conn will oversee all aspects of development across the region, including origination, entitlements, design, capitalization and construction management. Conn has more than 20 years of experience in multifamily and mixed-use development. Before joining Wood Partners, he served as senior vice president of development at AvalonBay Communities.
  • Miami-based Gencom Real Estate will be led by Donald McGregor, who has been promoted to President of Gencom Real Estate. In this leadership role, he will oversee the execution of the firm’s strategies across development, construction, and asset management, ensuring disciplined delivery from acquisition through stabilization and exit, while creating long-term value across the portfolio.
