JLL Arranges $42M Fannie Mae Refinancing for Portland-Area Multifamily

JLL has arranged $42 million in financing for Portola Bridge Creek, a 270-unit, garden-style apartment community in Vancouver, Washington.

JLL worked on behalf of the borrower, SB Real Estate Partners (SBREP), which has owned the property since 2022, to secure the five-year, fixed-rate loan through Fannie Mae. The JLL Capital Markets Debt Advisory team representing the borrower was led by Executive Managing Director Charles Halladay, Senior Director Rick Salinas and Director Elijah Lax.

Built in 1989, Portola Bridge Creek offers one-, two- and three-bedroom floor plans ranging from 650 to 1,150 square feet. The property is located at 9211 NE 15th Ave., in the Hazel Dell North area of Vancouver. The property sits just nine miles north of Downtown Portland and only six miles north of the Vancouver Waterfront redevelopment. JLL also arranged a four-pack, $110 million Freddie Mac refinance on behalf of SBREP in September of 2025.
