Quantum Real Estate Advisors Brokers Sale of Midwest Retail Portfolio

Quantum Real Estate Advisors, Inc. has brokered the sale of a five-property shopping center portfolio located throughout the Midwest.

The properties are in Illinois, Ohio, and Wisconsin and consist of roughly 67,000 square feet. The portfolio featured a diverse tenant lineup, including local, regional, and national tenants. The purchaser is a global real estate investment manager focused on acquiring niche property types, including essential service retail. The seller is a private syndicator based on the East Coast. Dan Waszak, Executive Vice President and Brett Berlin, Senior Vice President, represented the seller in the transaction.

“This portfolio stood out because of the embedded rent growth,” said Berlin. “With leases across several of these centers rolling in the next one to three years, the mark-to-market opportunities gave the buyer a clear runway to push net operating income and improve operations at the centers.”
