Wolverine Mixed-Use Project Advancing in Arlington
A new four-story, mixed-use development featuring apartments and a variety of shops, offices and restaurant space is planned for Downtown Arlington.
Under the agreement between the city of Arlington and Wolverine Interests, Wolverine would invest at least $60 million by 2029 to redevelop the 500 and 600 blocks of West Abram Street and the 400 and 500 blocks of West Main Street for the mixed-use project.
The future development is required to include:
- a minimum of 248 multifamily units
- a minimum of 15,000 square feet of commercial space, including office, retail, food and beverage and/or personal services
- a multi-level parking garage with at least 300 parking spaces
In return for meeting performance requirements, the City would reimburse the developer up to $2,550,000 for eligible costs. The first item involves completing demolition of all existing structures and site remediation by Dec.15, 2026.
