Opus Begins Construction on 899K-SF Ohio Industrial Development

Opus has begun on Canal Crossing Commerce Center, an 898,500-square-foot three-building speculative industrial development on 72 acres in Canal Winchester, Ohio.

Canal Crossing Commerce Center is optimally located three miles from I-270, five miles from Rickenbacker International Airport and 10 miles from downtown Columbus. The project is expected to create more than 400 jobs, and as part of the project, Opus is investing more than $4 million in public infrastructure improvements.

Red Architecture is the architect of record for the project, and Kimley-Horn is the civil engineer of record. Jonathan Schuen and Michael Linder of Colliers are marketing the buildings for lease.

“Canal Winchester has quickly emerged as one of Central Ohio’s most attractive industrial markets,” said Alex Vulic, vice president of real estate development with Opus. “We believe Canal Crossing Commerce Center is well-positioned to meet demand from companies seeking modern industrial space in a highly accessible location.”
