- LQ Commercial announces that Arnold Sevell has joined LQ, extending the firm’s reach along Florida’s East Coast. Sevell has negotiated over half a billion dollars of transactions and directed the development of one million square feet of commercial product. His Florida footprint covers South Florida, Port St. Lucie, Daytona Beach and Jacksonville. Arnie provides LQ clients with a multi-faceted discipline in retail, office, and land. Early in his career, he was a development Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer and served as a South Florida court-appointed Receiver.
- Acorn Property Holdings has sold Butler Pointe, a 151,815-square-foot office building in Jacksonville, Fla., for $14.7 million. The property traded at a 22 percent premium to its 2015 sale price, in a deal arranged by NAI Hallmark.
- The NRP Group, announced the financial closing and groundbreaking of Alora Lofts, an 88-unit affordable housing community in Kissimmee, Florida, 18 miles south of Orlando. The development will provide accessible housing for individuals and families earning between 30% and 70% of the Area Median Income (AMI). Construction of Alora Lofts is already underway, with completion scheduled for December of 2027.
- Anthony Scavo has assumed the role of CEO at Basis Industrial. Basis Industrial has expanded its national portfolio to more than 10 million square feet of multi-tenant industrial and self-storage assets, with an additional 2 million to 3 million square feet expected by the end of 2026. As CEO and managing partner, Scavo will continue leading the company’s overall vision, investment strategy and long-term growth initiatives while overseeing the executive leadership team. Nisha Patel has assumed the role of chief operating officer.
- Gallery Residential, a property management firm serving multifamily apartment communities and build-to-rent neighborhoods across the Southeast, appointed Jeremy Milton as Managing Director of their Florida operations. In this role, Milton will oversee Gallery Residential’s Florida portfolio, providing strategic leadership across operations, business development and team performance while supporting the company’s continued growth throughout the state.
