Lee & Associates Negotiates Purchase of 456K-SF Warehouse in Lansing

Lee & Associates of Illinois has negotiated the purchase of a 455,858-square-foot industrial building located at 16801 Exchange Avenue in Lansing, Illinois.

Walter Murphy, Principal at Lee & Associates of Illinois, represented the buyer, RBT Industries (The Great Escape), a retailer of the leading home leisure products. RBT will occupy 313,982 square feet of the building, while the remainder of the building is leased to LKQ Corporation. The institutional seller, Plymouth Industrial REIT, Inc., was represented by Stephanie Park, Colin Green and Traci Payette of CBRE.

The heavily powered building is close to I-80 and I-94. “The building’s location, potential future expansion, and the cooperation of Lansing in securing the Class 8 tax incentive made this acquisition their preferred choice,” said Murphy.
