NAI Hiffman, GREA Close Sale of Four-Building Portfolio in Hinsdale
NAI Hiffman and GREA announced the closing of the Downtown Hinsdale Portfolio, a four-parcel, multi-tenant commercial property located at 10 W. Chicago Avenue in downtown Hinsdale, Illinois.
NAI Hiffman Senior Vice President Arthur Burrows, along with GREA Senior Managing Directors William Montana and Christopher Sackley and Associate Kyle Jamison, represented ownership as the sole and exclusive agents in the transaction.
The 37,540-square-foot site is improved with a single-story barrel-truss-roof building and a partial two- and single-story building totaling approximately 19,690 net rentable square feet, along with a 49-space surface parking lot. The barrel-truss building at 10 W. Chicago was originally constructed in 1926 for the Weiss Auto Shop, with 26-28 W. Chicago added circa 1932.
The sellers acquired the property from the Comiskey family, original owners of the Chicago White Sox, in 1964. The income-producing asset features five ground-level retail spaces and eight second-floor offices.
