PCCP Provides $61M to Refinance 287-Unit DC Apartment Community

PCCP provided a $61.3 million loan to PGIM and Kennedy Wilson for the refinance of Parc Riverside East, a luxury mid-rise apartment community in the Navy Yard neighborhood of Washington, D.C.

Built in 2014 and located at 1011 First Street SE, the 287-unit, 13-story property features studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom floor plans averaging 785 square feet.

“With the existing loan reaching maturity, we believe Parc Riverside East represented an opportunity for PCCP to finance a well-located, institutional-quality multifamily asset in one of Washington, D.C.’s dynamic urban neighborhoods,” said Lia Barsanti, Senior Vice President with PCCP.

The property is in the heart of Washington, D.C.’s Navy Yard neighborhood with direct access to the Navy Yard–Ballpark Metro station. Nationals Park is a six-minute walk, the U.S. Capitol Building is a 17-minute walk, and the surrounding area features a mix of waterfront dining, retail, and entertainment anchored by The Yards and The Wharf.
