Aerospace Firm Spending $75M on Orlando Plant

Extant Aerospace broke ground on a new 376,000-square-foot industrial manufacturing facility in Melbourne. Michael Moss II of Lightle Beckner Robison represented Extant Aerospace securing the building.

The Orlando Business Journal reports the new facility is part of the Harbour Logistics Center development, an industrial center with a total of 530,000 square feet of Class-A space across two buildings. Extant will occupy “Building Two” with a secondary 154,000-square-foot space (known as Building 1) remaining available. Plans include a $75 million investment for the facility, as well as 200 new jobs added to Extant’s current 250-employee workforce

This new facility will be an expansion from the company’s current 52,900-square-foot base at 1615 W. NASA Blvd. in Melbourne.

Extant Aerospace works with a mix of aerospace electronics and avionics products used on a wide range of commercial and military platforms.
