Construction Begins on Apartments at Cedar Park Mixed-Use Venue

JPI Development Group is pursuing construction of a 425-unit apartment complex at a massive mixed-use project in Cedar Park.

The Austin Business Journal reports it’s part of the early phase of construction of the 117-acre CedarView, the mixed-use project that will have a 1.5 million-square-foot NFM furniture store, a 378,000-square-foot Scheels sporting goods store, a 297-key full-service Marriott hotel, and a 30,000-square-foot convention center.

JPI’s multifamily project, estimated to cost $82 million, would include 12,000 square feet of indoor amenity space. It also calls for a clubroom and fitness areas, as well as outdoor amenity space.

It has a start date of January 2027 and would be expected to be completed in 2029.

FB Society is opening an approximately 10,000-square-foot Haywire restaurant at CedarView, and SPB Hospitality is opening an 8,500-square-foot J. Alexander’s there.

Cedar Park is about 20 miles northwest of downtown Austin and has an overall population of 79,000.
