  • Newmark Group, Inc. has hired Munish Viralam as executive vice chairman to lead its Real Estate Strategy & Consulting Group. Based in New York, Viralam leads the group that combines Newmark’s New York Consulting and Financial Services teams. The practice serves as a centralized resource supporting Newmark’s brokerage teams, and complements Newmark’s broader real estate advisory capabilities. 
  • Allen Matkins announced that Ronald R. Rossi has joined the firm’s Litigation Practice as a partner in its New York office. A first-chair trial lawyer and lead counsel in complex, high-stakes commercial disputes with more than three decades of experience, Rossi is often called up to represent clients in their most significant business, real estate, insurance, technology, labor, and corporate governance disputes in courts and arbitration forums across the United States and internationally. 
  • Eastern Union, one of the nation’s leading commercial real estate mortgage brokerages, announced the next phase of its nationwide expansion, led by chairman Ira Zlotowitz and president Abe Bergman, and the signing of top-producing broker Elliott Kunstlinger as the first senior broker to join under the plan. Kunstlinger, known for closing some of the market’s largest and most complex financings, is the first of several senior and emerging brokers now in discussions to join the firm. 
  • Colliers has appointed industry veteran Giles Wrench as EVP, head of Enterprise Client Solutions, U.S. | Global Occupier Services, where he will lead the firm’s enterprise client growth strategy and help expand technology-enabled real estate solutions for major corporate occupiers. Wrench joins from JLL, where he helped build solutions for Fortune 500 clients and most recently launched a financial services industry vertical. 
  • A&G Real Estate Partners, a leading real estate advisory firm specializing in sales of real estate and lease renegotiation, announced that Ted Parris has joined the firm as senior consultant. Parris brings decades of experience advising both mid-sized and Fortune 1000 corporate tenants on complex real estate challenges. He has worked extensively with office, retail, and industrial clients to reduce lease liabilities and improve financial performance. 
  • Trivium Real Estate Advisors, one of the fastest-growing multifamily investment sales brokerages in the Northeast, has appointed Emily L. Wood as COO. Wood will oversee operations, technology, recruiting, marketing and strategic growth initiatives as the firm continues to expand its platform. 
  • Global architecture and design firm HLW has appointed Christopher Townsend, AIA, LEED AP, NCARB, and Erin Vasold, AIA, LEED AP, NCIDQ, as co-studio directors of its New Jersey office. The dual appointment reflects HLW’s commitment to innovation through collaborative leadership and ensuring its international reach is grounded by regional stewards with deep roots in the practice, strong client relationships, and a proven dedication to design excellence. 
  • Construction management firm STO Building Group has named Ravi Shrivastava as CTO, a new role for the organization. Shrivastava has nearly 30 years of experience leading technology strategy, digital transformation, product development, data modernization, and AI enablement across complex global organizations. Over the course of his career, he has held senior technology leadership roles at Ryan LLC, S&P Global/IHS Markit, and Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
