Woodmont, Sagard Launch Redevelopment of Rahway Industrial Site

Woodmont Industrial Partners, in partnership with Sagard Real Estate, has broken ground on the redevelopment of a 25-acre industrial site at 349 & 389 New Brunswick Ave. in Rahway, NJ. The project will replace an obsolete 212,000-square-foot facility with two state-of-the-art, Class-A warehouse buildings.

The first building will offer 201,000 square feet of warehouse space and 3,000 square feet of office space. The second will include 76,000 square feet of warehouse space and 2,500 square feet of office space. The project is set for completion in the first quarter of 2027.

“This site gave us an exceptional opportunity to deliver new industrial space in a corridor where demand is outpacing supply,” said Anthony Amadeo, EVP of Woodmont. “North Jersey’s industrial market remains strong, and the strategic location of this property aligns well with that sustained momentum. We’re proud to redevelop this property and revitalize the area with our long-term partner, Sagard, and support the ongoing growth of the state’s industrial sector.”
