  • Baker Katz promoted John Frazier and Lunden McGill to principals. McGill and Frazier have been instrumental in Baker Katz’s growth, helping expand the firm’s tenant representation platform and presence across Houston. With 14 years and nearly a decade at Baker Katz, respectively, they bring extensive market knowledge, longstanding client relationships and a shared commitment to collaboration. Their contributions have established Baker Katz as a trusted partner to retailers, landlords and developers throughout the region. 
  • Stream Realty Partners,appointed seasoned executive Damien Matherne as Chief Financial Officer.  Based in Stream’s Dallas headquarters, Matherne will oversee corporate accounting, treasury and cash management, financial planning and analysis, financial reporting, and enterprise financial systems as Chief Financial Officer. Matherne joins Stream from Clean Scapes, where he served as Chief Financial Officer. With more than 30 years of financial leadership experience, he has built and led finance and accounting organizations across multiple industries, developing deep expertise in corporate accounting, treasury management, financial planning and analysis, operational strategy, and enterprise systems implementation.
  • Marcus & Millichap closed the sale of Parker Square Shopping Center, a 94,532-square-foot multi-tenant retail property in Wichita Falls, Texas. Chris Gainey and Philip Levy marketed the property The buyer and seller were not disclosed. The 23-suite property is on almost 12 acres and was 97% occupied at the time of sale.
  • Catamount Constructors promoted Jonathan Svoboda to Project Executive for the company’s San Antonio business unit. With 25 years of construction experience, Svoboda has built a reputation for leading complex projects, developing teams, and delivering results for clients. Since joining Catamount in 2020, he has advanced through increasing leadership responsibilities, serving as Project Manager before being promoted to Senior Project Manager in 2023.
  • J.P. Morgan has hired Cassandra Silvernail to lead Community Development Banking: Central Region in Houston. J.P. Morgan Commercial Banking announced the appointment of Cassandra Silvernail as the Central Region Division Manager within its Community Development Banking team. Cassandra will lead a team that provides financing for the creation and preservation of affordable and workforce housing, as well as tax credit equity investments in the Central region. Cassandra brings more than two decades of experience in community and commercial real estate finance.
