Huntington Bank Signs Lease Expansion at Chicago Office Tower
Tishman Speyer announced a 10-year, 23,223-square-foot lease expansion with Huntington Bank, expanding its footprint to approximately 60,900 square feet at 222 N. LaSalle Street, a 26-story building in downtown Chicago.
Huntington Bank has operated at 222 N. LaSalle since 2011. “Expanding our footprint reflects the momentum we’re seeing across our Chicago business and our long-term commitment to the region. This investment allows us to continue building a workplace that supports our teams and positions us to better serve our customers and communities,” said Patrice DeCorrevont, president of Huntington’s Illinois/Wisconsin region.
Tishman Speyer, which serves as property manager and leasing agent at 222 N. LaSalle, was represented by Ellen May and Steve Golz. 222 N. LaSalle recently completed an expansive renovation program, bringing hospitality and amenities into the riverfront tower. Since unveiling its renovation plans in 2024, the building has secured 490,000 square feet of leases. Huntington’s agreement follows Vedder’s 163,000-square-foot lease extension, which will maintain the law firm’s global headquarters at 222 N. LaSalle through 2041. The one million-square-foot tower is now 87 percent leased.
