Denver’s Fillmore Building Trades for $93.5M
The Fillmore Building sold for $93.5 million. The Cherry Creek-area building was owned and developed by BMC Investments. BMC Investments first purchased the land for the building in 2019 for $12 million. The company broke ground on the development in 2022 and delivered the asset in 2024.
Newmark’s Tim Richey represented BMC in the deal. 255 Fillmore comprises approximately 90,000 square feet of office space and 10,000 square feet of ground-floor retail. The seven-story property is 100% leased to multiple office tenants and three retail/restaurant tenants.
The Denver Business Journal reports Tradition Senior Living was the buyer, with financing coming from the Bank of Texas.
BMC is a local development group known for several projects in Cherry Creek, including the Halcyon Hotel and the multiblock Cherry Lane project. Currently, BMC is building luxury apartments and an office building right across the street from each other at 299 and 242 Milwaukee St., respectively.
