Yorba Linda Parking Lot Sells for Townhome Redevelopment

CBRE arranged the $8.12-million sale of a 1.9‑acre residential development site at 4861 Liverpool St. in Yorba Linda. The property, currently a parking lot, was sold by Messiah Lutheran Church. The buyer, an Orange County–based housing developer, plans to build 40 townhomes on the site.

Michelle Jefcoat and Dan Blackwell represented both the seller and the buyer.

“This sale reflects the strong demand for well‑located residential development opportunities in North Orange County,” said Jefcoat. “Yorba Linda has limited available land, high barriers to entry and a deep pool of qualified buyers seeking new housing options.”

The site is located along Yorba Linda Boulevard, a major east‑west arterial, and sits between the 57 and 91 freeways, offering direct access to regional employment centers, California State University, Fullerton, and retail amenities including the Brea Mall.”

Once constructed, the 40 three‑story townhomes will include a mix of one‑, two‑, three‑ and four‑bedroom floor plans with attached garages. Site work is expected to begin in the coming weeks.
