Newmark Arranges $53M Sale of Waterford Apartments in Everett
Newmark has arranged the $53.3 million sale and Freddie Mac financing of Waterford Apartments, a 200-unit apartment community in Everett, Washington.
The transaction is the highest price paid for a multifamily community in Everett since May of 2023. Newmark Multifamily Executive Managing Director Marty Leith represented the undisclosed seller, and Managing Director Alec Newman arranged financing for the transaction. “We’re thrilled to be a part of the largest Everett sale in the last 12 months,” said Leith. “Everett continues to perform with some of the strongest short- and long-term rent growth in the Seattle market.”
Located at 2020 Lake Heights Drive, the Waterford Apartments are situated near the shore of Silver Lake in Northern Washington, about 25 miles north of downtown Seattle. Constructed in 1989, the property features resort-style amenities, including indoor and outdoor pools, sauna and spa, a dog park and fitness center. Waterford’s units were most recently renovated in 2014.
