Mazaheri Acquires Norman Retail Center for $82.2M

Disney Investment Group (DIG) brokered the $82.25 million sale of University Town Center (UTC) in Norman, Oklahoma. David Disney and Adam Crockett of DIG represented the seller, Rainier Companies and procured the buyer, Mazaheri Properties.  In 2019, DIG previously sold UTC to Rainier Companies.

At 99% leased, UTC is home to more than forty (40) tenants and anchored by national retailers including Academy, Kohl’s, TJ Maxx, Ulta, HomeGoods, Michaels, Petco, Office Depot, DSW and many others. UTC is shadow anchored by SuperTarget and Crest Foods. Disney states that UTC receives over 12 million customer visits annually and is ranked the #1 shopping center in the state.  Nationally, UTC is ranked by in the top 1% of all shopping centers. 

For over 35 years, Mazaheri Properties has owned and operated as a sole principal investor focusing on Commercial Real Estate and development in the Oklahoma City MSA and Dallas-Ft. Worth markets.
