PREMIER Design + Build Group Relocates Downtown Chicago Office, Names New SVP

PREMIER’s Design + Build Group has relocated its downtown Chicago office to 333 W. Wacker Drive.

Strategically located in the heart of downtown, the office is designed to better serve Chicago’s urban construction needs, including office buildings, public works, and other complex commercial projects. The Chicago office will continue to serve as a central hub for local project teams and operations.

The firm has also made a key addition to its leadership team, hiring Jim Smiley as senior vice president. In this role, Smiley will lead the new Chicago office and support continued growth across the region. In his new role, Smiley will run day-to-day Chicago operations, oversee project management teams, and lead business development efforts.

In 2025, Beacon Capital Partners completed a $32 million renovation at 333 W. Wacker Drive, including an entirely new ground-floor lobby, a fitness and wellness center, a rooftop tenant lounge and conference center, and an outdoor terrace.
