Construction Tops Out at La Mesa Townhome/Apartment Complex

Good and Roberts, an affiliate of general contractor C.W. Driver Companies, has topped out on Ibis La Mesa. Owned by Sea Anemone, LLC, the $29-million housing project on the former site of a medical office building blends townhome and multifamily options for families and working professionals.

Ibis La Mesa will deliver a total of eight buildings, including four townhouse-style buildings (30 units), three stacked-flat apartment buildings (22 units) and an affordable housing building comprised of 10 units. Good & Roberts is completing all eight buildings within phases.

The affordable housing is set for completion first, while the next three buildings, containing the remainder of the stacked flat, will be completed in phase II. The townhouse buildings will be turned over one at a time, with the final building being completed in October.

Located at 8940 Dailey Rd. and 5101-5125 Garfield St., Ibis La Mesa will offer easy access to Downtown La Mesa, The Grossmont Center, I-8, Route 125 and Route 94.
