Columbia Property Trust Lands 50K SF of Leases in Boston’s Back Bay
Columbia Property Trust, Inc. has secured six leases totaling more than 50,000 square feet at 116 Huntington Ave., its 273,000-square-foot boutique office building in Boston’s Back Bay district.
The largest deal belongs to Karen Clark & Company, a software development firm expanding its headquarters by 8,022 square feet, taking over the entire 20,286-square-foot tenth floor. Karen Clark also signed a four-year lease extension, ensuring its presence at the tower through at least 2032.
Columbia secured a 3,031-square-foot headquarters expansion to 11,053 square feet with Longpoint Partners, along with four other leases: Formation Bio, an AI-native pharma company, 6,172 square feet; SciVida, a management consulting firm focused exclusively on life sciences, 5,462 square feet; OnCorps, Inc., an AI platform for fund operations, relocating to a 4,155-square-foot prebuilt suite; and MD2 International, LLC, a concierge medical provider, 3,306 square feet.
Columbia was represented in-house on all transactions by EVP Ted Koltis and VP Maria Blake, along with a JLL team of Dan Cavanaugh, Patrick Nugent and Maeve Cleary. Longpoint was represented by Bryan Sparkes and Sarah Griffith of JLL. Karen Clark was represented by Colin Gordon of Hughes Marino.
