140K-SF Car Condo Facility Advances in Scottsdale
Finish Line Auto Club has plans for a luxury care storage facility at 17600 N. Perimeter Center Dr. The firm acquired the 10-acre parcel last week for $20.7 million from Tryperion Holdings.
The Phoenix Business Journal reports that demolition of the former Fender Instruments building will begin in the next 60 days, with groundbreaking targeted for the end of summer. Finish Line Auto Club could open in the first quarter of 2028,.
The plan is to build a five-building, 140,000-square-foot “car condo” facility that will include a 20,000-square-foot clubhouse. Each garage will be for sale, allowing owners to purchase, decorate and customize their spaces. The units will have mezzanine floors, air conditioning and plumbing.
The condo units will vary in size from 1,000 to 3,000 square feet. Some units can be combined for larger storage areas.
As for the clubhouse, it will have coffee shop, meeting rooms and an upstairs lounge. Members will have 24/7 access to the facility, which will also have a gym.
LGE Design Build is serving as the general contractor and architect.
