Lee & Associates announced that Matthew Androwich has been promoted to vice president from senior associate. Androwich, who joined Lee & Associates of Illinois’ industrial brokerage group in 2023, assists tenants and owners, both private and institutional, in the leasing, acquisition and development of industrial real estate in the region. Lee & Associates also promoted Tony Russo to executive vice president from senior vice president. With more than 26 years of experience in suburban Chicago commercial real estate, Russo specializes in delivering results across office, medical, and flex properties.
Baird & Warner announced key leadership appointments with the company, naming Lucy Baird as chief stewardship officer and vice chair of the board. The company also elevated Laura Ellis to chief revenue officer. Baird has been actively involved in the company for 10 years through her work as Baird & Warner historian and leading Good Will Works, the firm’s philanthropic arm. In her new role, Ellis is expanding her leadership across all sales-related business lines, including brokerage, mortgage and title.
Jeannette Vahle has joined Colliers | Kansas City as managing director of real estate management services. Vahle brings more than 30 years of commercial real estate experience across property management, asset services and operations leadership to the role. Most recently, she served as regional manager of the Aspiria Campus for Occidental Management, a firm specializing in development, leasing and property management. Vahle previously spent nine years with Cushman & Wakefield as managing director of asset services and more than seven years with Copaken Brooks, focusing on property and relationship management.
Marquette Management announced the addition of The Pavilion to its portfolio. Recently acquired by R.I.G. Capital in the Chicago area’s largest apartment sale so far this year, the 1,115-unit community is located minutes from O’Hare International Airport at 5441 N. East River Road, in the Chicago city limits.
A joint venture between Chicago-based Habitat and M/I Homes of Chicago has closed on the former Solo Cup Company site in Highland Park, Ill., where the joint venture plans to develop The Bowery of Highland Park, a 227-residence for-sale townhome community. Located at 1700 Old Deerfield Road, the approximately 28-acre vacant site will be transformed into a residential neighborhood featuring townhomes, preserved open space, landscaped parkways and community amenities.
