Tishman Speyer Secures 163K-SF Headquarters Extension with Vedder
Tishman Speyer secured a 163,000-square-foot headquarters extension with Vedder at 222 N. LaSalle Street, a 26-story building in downtown Chicago.
Vedder signed a 12-year extension to maintain its global headquarters at 222 N. LaSalle through 2041. The law firm, which has been headquartered at 222 N. LaSalle since 1988, will continue to occupy 163,000 square feet across five floors.
“We are pleased to strengthen our long-standing relationship with Vedder,” said Tishman Speyer Managing Director Nooshin Felsenthal. “222 N. LaSalle has been reimagined for the next generation of professionals, blending architectural legacy with a modern, hospitality-driven experience.”
Tishman Speyer serves as property manager and leasing agent at 222 N LaSalle and was represented by Ellen May, Steve Golz and Bella Rapken. Vedder was represented by Joe Learner and Adam Southard of Savills.
222 N. LaSalle recently completed an expansive renovation program, bringing hospitality and amenities into the riverfront tower. The building has since secured 490,000 square feet of leases, including agreements with Ninja Trader and Croke Fairchild Duarte & Beres.
