QuikTrip Expanding Chicago Footprint with Three New Locations

QuikTrip Corp. is expanding in Chicagoland, and the Tulsa, Oklahoma-based chain of gasoline and convenience stores recently opened a new location in Minooka.

The new 7,300-square-foot Minooka Remote Travel Center store is located at 501 N. Ridge Road. QuikTrip also has plans for two more locations in the region this year, reported the Chicago Business Journal.

QuikTrip plans to open a 5,300-square-foot location at 8625 S. Harlem Ave. in Bridgeview in late spring. Another 7,300-square-foot location at 710 W. 172nd St. in South Holland is slated to open by the summer.

The company operates 1,200 locations nationally, including 20 in Illinois and eight in the Chicago market. QuikTrip opened its first Chicago-area location in 2023 at a former Kmart in Lansing. Each location has up to 20 employees, and nationally, QuikTrip employs more than 32,000 people.
