Fitness Franchise btone Opens in Charlestown

RJ Kelly (RJK) announced that btone FITNESS Charlestown has officially opened at 40 Warren St. in Charlestown. The new 1,500 square-foot studio is the growing brand’s latest franchise to open and joins several other Greater Boston locations including those in Back Bay, the North End, South Boston, Dorchester and Somerville. A new Brighton studio is slated to open early this summer.

“Charlestown is a neighborhood that takes pride in supporting businesses with local roots, and btone  FITNESS fits that spirit perfectly,” said RJK CEO Brandon Kelly. “As a Massachusetts-founded brand with a loyal following across Greater Boston, btone brings a wellness amenity that further solidifies 40 Warren’s position at the centerpiece of Charlestown’s live-work culture.”

JLL’s Bryan Sparkes and Brian Flaherty handle leasing for the building. Dodge Tucker of Tucker Real Estate represented btone FITNESS. The brand was founded in 2010 by Cape Cod native Jody Merrill and now extends to numerous locations throughout New England as well as Florida, Illinois, North Carolina and Utah.
