Major League Soccer Unveils Global Headquarters at Vornado’s PENN 2

Major League Soccer (MLS) on Wednesday unveiled its new global headquarters at Vornado Realty Trust’s PENN 2. The 126,000-square-foot, two-floor space establishes a central hub for league operations in Midtown Manhattan.

Designed by TPG Architecture, the space introduces an “office as a stadium” concept, according to MLS. From a tunnel-inspired “player arrival” entry to a central collaboration hub known as “Midfield,” the headquarters is designed to mirror the experience of matchday while fostering collaboration across teams.

JLL vice chairmen Daniel Posy and Joe Messina and SVP Jason Roberts represented MLS in the long-term lease. “PENN 2 is arguably one of the most highly amenitized office buildings in New York right now, sitting in the middle of one of the city’s hottest and fastest-evolving districts,” said Posy. “The combination of the building itself, the energy around the Penn District and the long-term flexibility made it a compelling fit for MLS.”
